Remote trailer monitoring over cellular
A tank fills or a breaker trips, and the hub sounds the horn and lights the status screen in the trailer. Nobody at the office hears it. Cellular sends the same alarm to your phone and the dashboard.
What works with no signal
The status screen, the horn and the lights run on the hub inside the trailer and do not use the cellular connection. A grey tank at 80% sounds the horn on a site with no coverage at all, and the crew reads the level on the screen by the door. Battery backup keeps the hub and those alarms running when mains is lost.
Cellular is an add-on to that hub. A trailer that runs local alarms today can get the connection later without replacing anything.
What cellular adds
Every alarm the hub raises also reaches the people who are not on site. The alert arrives as a push notification in the iPhone app, ModSensors Pro, or as a text message for anyone without the app.
The dashboard at app.modsensors.com shows every connected trailer on one map with its current readings, and the history behind each one: tank levels over the past weeks, battery voltage and mains presence read every minute, and which trailers draw the most power. Tank history is what lets you set the pump-out run to match how fast each unit fills.
Rules are set once, on the status screen or in the app, and apply to every trailer. A grey-tank threshold is set once, not trailer by trailer.

Who gets the alert
Each alert names the trailer and the alarm. A text that reads "ModSensors: motion at MS-2601" tells the reader which unit and what happened before they open anything.
Each person on the alert list picks their own channels: push notification, SMS or both. The fleet manager takes push in the app and the pump-out driver takes a text. One alarm goes out to everyone on the list, each on the channel they chose.
No Wi-Fi on site
The hub connects over LTE with its own cellular data plan. Nothing on the site has to supply a network for the trailer monitoring system.
Where the signal is weak, an external antenna can be fitted to the hub. If the signal drops after install, the horn, lights and screen keep working as before. Phone alerts and the dashboard stop until the connection comes back.

Which trailers need it
Not every trailer does. Most fleets start with water tank monitoring and power monitoring on washroom trailers, running locally, and add cellular to the units far from the office, where today someone drives out to check.
The trailer security camera is the exception. It needs the connection to send its photo alerts, and it works over LTE with no Wi-Fi on site. A camera-only setup is the camera, a hub, the data plan and app access; tank and power sensors can be added to the same hub later.
The connection is added per trailer, so remote trailer monitoring covers only the units that need it. An office trailer parked in the yard can run its local alarms alone while the washroom trailer three hours away gets cellular. Get a quote on the pricing page; quotes go out the same day.

Common questions
Do I need Wi-Fi on the site?
No. The hub connects over LTE with its own data plan. Nothing on the site has to supply a network.
What still works if the cell signal drops?
The status screen, horn and lights. They run on the hub in the trailer, so a tank or power alarm still sounds on site. Phone alerts, SMS, the dashboard and history stop until the connection comes back. On a site with weak signal, fit an external antenna.
Is there an Android app?
No. ModSensors Pro is an iPhone app. Anyone on Android gets the same alarms by SMS, and the dashboard at app.modsensors.com opens in a web browser.
Can different people get different alerts?
Each person on the alert list picks push, SMS or both, and the choice is per person. One alarm can reach several phones: the office as a push notification, the pump-out driver as a text.
